This October, the Bio-Medical Association (BMA) at Model Engineering College launched the latest edition of The ECHO, our college magazine. It was a special project for many of us, especially since I had the chance to contribute an article on Neuralink's groundbreaking Blindsight device—a technology that aims to restore vision in a whole new way. Neuralink's work has always inspired me, and diving deep into their Blindsight project for this article was both exciting and eye-opening.

Our BMA head team, including our incredible seniors Athulya, Gowrysankar, and Niranjan, guided us through every step of creating the magazine. To keep the work manageable and allow everyone to contribute, our batch was divided into five teams, with each team further divided into groups of three. My team included Aarushi Dalmia and Sonu Saji. Aarushi took on the design aspect, staying up late to bring the first version of the magazine to life. I joined her later to refine and edit the design, ensuring the final version looked just right.

This experience was not just about writing or designing. It was about teamwork, learning from our seniors, and understanding what it takes to bring a publication together. Everyone’s unique contributions, from content to design, shaped The ECHO into something we're all proud of. Working on this edition of the magazine has not only taught me more about our field but also given me new insights into the power of collaboration.
